- Anand wins Bilbao -

Anand showed to Carlsen that he's well prepared for the next match for the world title.

Despite a loss against Aronian in the last round, Anand has clearly dominated the tournament and showed good preparations and good spirit.

The world title match should not be as easy for Carlsen that the previous one...

- Sinquefield Round 6 : Caruana officially possessed by Fischer's soul...

We will soon have to invent words to qualify the performance of Fabiano Caruana.
He looks possessed by Fischer, and we don't want him to be exorcised...
Frankly speaking, this is a big fresh air in the chess world, who started to be a bit boring.
Thank you Mister Caruana !

Today, Fabiano, my new best friend, has simply destroyed Topalov in a brilliant way...

- Sinquefield Round 5 : "Houston, Caruana is leaving the solar system..." -

What you see is an italian GM leaving the dollar system.

Bobby Caruana is about to sign a performance that will hit chess history.
Topalov and Vachier-Lagrave declared after this round that the fight for the first place is over. Already... We just reached the first half of the tournament.
15 games.. only 5 draws. Many thanks to the fighting spirit of the players. Let's hope that the second half of the tournament will stay on the same track !

Sinquefield Round 4 : Caruana in stellar orbit

Fabiano Caruana is about to collide with the moon...
With a perfect score after 4 rounds in such a tournament, we can say that Caruana is a leader in a pure Fischer's style... The world champion is already 2,5 points behind...
A second tournament is about to start : the fight for the second place...
Carlsen "Fabiano is landing on the moon..."
Topalov "Nooo???"
Caruana 1-0 Aronian
MVL ½-½ Nakamura
Carlsen ½-½ Topalov

- Sinquefield Round 3 : Caruana Big Boss after defeating Carlsen -

3/3! Fabiano couldn't hope for a better start...
Nine games and only three draws for the time being. What a start !
What to say about the performance of the italian GM? Amazing ! For the time being, it is just perfect.
Caruana is already 2 points ahead of the world champion and solidly installed on the second rank in the live rating with 2815... Amazing...
